Our venue has been awarded the title of Recommended Tourist Attraction of Poznań County 2024
On November 12, 2010 at 8:00 a.m., the official opening of the new, modernly designed and comfortably equipped recreational and sports facility “MISIAŁEK” took place in Tarnowo Podgórne at 131 A Poznańska Street.
The main part of our sports hall, built using modern technology, is a full-size, professional indoor ice rink with convenient and well-equipped social facilities.
The light steel structure of the hall supports a permanent roof made of thermal insulation materials that effectively protect our guests from weather conditions, while large side windows provide a significant amount of natural daylight illuminating the ice rink during the day. Outside daylight hours, strong modern artificial lighting of the hall ensures a high level of illumination and user comfort.
This comfort is further enhanced thanks to the excellent ventilation system of the hall, which was designed to remove large amounts of moisture that are naturally present in an ice rink environment. The ventilation system prevents water particles from condensing on the ceiling of the hall and dripping onto the ice surface, which in turn prevents the formation of uneven ice typical of covered ice rinks without proper ventilation, especially tent-style rinks.
High-quality sound system of the hall and carefully selected music make the time spent at the facility more enjoyable for all visitors.
At the disposal of our guests, the rental shop offers nearly 600 pairs of high-quality branded ice skates in a full range of sizes so that everyone who visits our ice rink can enjoy skating.
Our season runs from November to March.
Guests may enter the changing rooms and restrooms wearing skates at any time while using the ice rink, without the inconvenience of taking them off and putting them back on. These facilities have been designed and equipped to make their use as convenient as possible for our guests.
A major advantage of visiting our ice rink is that guests who purchase an entrance ticket are not limited by time when enjoying the facility. You simply purchase an unlimited-time entry ticket (the only limitation being the opening hours of the facility).
Children under the age of 10 using the ice rink must, for their own safety, wear special helmets while on the ice. The rental of these helmets is FREE OF CHARGE!
Additionally, we would like to inform you that the safety of all ice rink users will be supervised by the facility’s security staff, including the safety of items left in the cloakroom. Each user of the ice rink has access to a locker that can be locked with a key.
Safety on the ice also means comfort and freedom while skating. For this reason, we limit the number of people using the ice rink at the same time to 300 guests, so that everyone can feel truly comfortable on this spacious rink.
The ice surface is renewed every 1.5 hours using a specialized ice-resurfacing machine to ensure maximum comfort for its users. The time required for this break does not affect the time spent using the ice rink, as here customers pay for entry, not for “passing” minutes.
For the convenience of our guests, there is also a spacious, comfortable, free parking area, allowing visitors to drive directly up to the ice rink hall without worrying about additional fees. The area is well paved and properly illuminated.
We undertook the construction of this ice rink with the hope that our initiative would contribute to encouraging physical activity among the youth of the Wielkopolska region and become a favorite place for recreation and leisure for all our guests.
We also hope that our ice rink will contribute to the development and popularization of ice hockey in our region of the country by offering the best conditions in Wielkopolska for practicing this sport.
Around the ice surface there is a durable protective barrier (rink boards), which also provides an excellent space for effective advertising.
There has never been an ice rink like this in Wielkopolska before!
You will not find such good conditions for skating or playing hockey anywhere else in our region.
